Gate Keeper loves the Merry Go Round

Blessings to all and Happy Spring!!!

I have had more volunteers for the re-location of the ground hog next year!!! Thank you all.

It has been my experience when we try to change our "stinking thinking" without addressing the Gatekeeper a/k/a Critical Voice, it feels as though we are on an endless Merry Go Round. So how does one address the Gate Keeper and what is the Gate Keeper you ask? Very briefly, the gate keeper is the silent voice in our heads that decides what is true and what it will allow to be true based on what we were told/imprinted as children. The job of the Gate Keeper is to keep in tact that which it thinks to be true for our survival. Boy howdy, it will do almost anything to protect what it thinks to be true! Like sabotage almost every intention/change we want to do that GK thinks is in direct opposition to what it protects! The Gate Keeper must be addressed almost covertly. It must be taught that what it was taught may not be and most often is not true. Like teaching a toddler what is good for them and what is not. Remember GK was imprinted by the adults around us when we were children. Those adults had their own "negative emotional baggage", so how could they have imprinted us with positiveness? They, those adults, did the best they could based on what they were imprinted with. Thus it is a Merry Go Round... Even if the adults verbally showered us with positive re-enforcement, if they did not do the internal work themselves, those negative imprints still leaked out.

So, every time one thinks they are on a Merry Go Round, maybe they should give GK a giant lollipop to distract it, while you begin the journey of re-shaping within what a Glorious, Lovable, Deserving, Worthy Being you really are!!!

Blessings In The Form of Blog

What an honor it is to sit here and read what you all have to share. I am sitting here truly Blessed by what I have read tonight. I have had a rough two years and with Ome to guide me, am still pushing through. One of the posts said let the past be just that "The Past" what strong words with such meaning. I tend to get lost in the past and what if's. Fully aware of the waste of energy and yet continuing to ride that merry go round.

Thank you ladies, for sharing and touching my life.

Good morning to all!

throughout the years I have been in the real estate market until 2007 when the subprime market crashed, I was one of the firts ones to go down on the first wave. It has taken me over two years to figure out on how to reinvent the wheel, make money and at the same time help people in distress. Well, my friends as I always say is not in my time is in God's time. I've decided to conduct free seminars geared to those that are facing the horrible possibility of loosing their homes but with a twist, this will let me help not only these people on how to save their homes but also to touch the point of how to deal with the emotional and mental side of it. I recently joined a group that the main purpose is to give hope to those that are thinking that suicide is an option. As sad as it is but many people consider that option when they are about to lose their homes, so this entity and I are going to start free seminars on how to handle the stress. I want everybody to know that banks don't want any additional inventory so now they have realized that compromising with these owners is the best alternative to avoid the tremendous loss these banks are having. Banks are not in the business fo selling real estate.

On a lighter note, I was selelcted to participate on the next episode of project runway in Puerto Rico, how wxciting is that! and just to think that even a month ago I was in total desmain and confused.

Ground Hog To The Caribbean

Hi there everyone!!! We have been snowed in (again) with brown outs... During this lovely white winter wonderland, I came up with what I think is a brilliant idea. I will need volunteers for this brilliant idea. Okay, okay here it is: next winter sometime in January, a group of us need to get together, find out where the ground hog is living, scoop him/her and respective family up, put them in a doggie travel case and send them to the Caribbean!!! This way, our winter will be short, the ground hog family can soak up rays and everyone will be happy.

Hooray, Lara is my first volunteer!!! Any more???

Have a wonderful, Miracle filled day...

MIRACLES EVERYWHERE

Good Morning everyone! May today be the day you accept miracles!!!

One day a child asked me about miracles and what they were. She asked me if people believed miracles still happened? I said, I believe miracles happen all the time in all shapes and sizes, but most people forget what they are. Why do they forget she asked? Well because they think miracles should be something big and unbelievable. That is why they don't recognize they happen all the time. Like what she asked? Well, like all the people that survived the earthquakes. That was a miracle. Even though many people died she asked? Yes, many more people could have died and they did not so it was a miracle that anyone survived. I see, we have to notice the small miracles in the middle of something terrible, she said. That's right. Miracles are all around us and waiting to happen, we just need to let them in our lives. Okay, she said, from now on I will let miracles in my life and pray that others will too.

May you accept Miracles everyday!
